Growing Together: A Houston Toddler and Preschooler Moms Support Group

1st Thursday of the month @ 1pm

Toddler Mom Support Group

Find Connection, Support, and Understanding as a Mom of a Toddler

Motherhood doesn’t get easier after the newborn stage—it just changes. The toddler years bring new joys, challenges, and a rollercoaster of emotions. Whether you’re navigating tantrums, sleep regressions, picky eating, or just feeling overwhelmed, you’re not alone.

Our Houston Toddler Moms Support Group is a space for moms to connect, share experiences, and find encouragement from others who truly understand. This free monthly group is open to any mom looking for support and community during the toddler years.

Who is this group for?

This group is for any mom of a child ages 18 months to 5 years looking for a judgment-free space to talk about the ups and downs of this stage of motherhood. Whether you’re feeling burnt out, overstimulated, lonely, or just need to vent about the latest meltdown over the “wrong” color sippy cup—this group is for you.

You don’t need to be in therapy to attend, and there’s no pressure to share if you’d rather just listen.

What can I expect?

  • A welcoming and supportive space to talk openly about your experiences.
  • Connection with other moms who get it—no need to explain or justify how you’re feeling.
  • A chance to share real-life strategies for managing common toddler challenges.
  • Guidance from Christina “Nina” Moak, LPC, who brings her expertise in child development and parenting support.

This is not a therapy group but rather a peer-led support space. If you’re looking for individual or group therapy, we can provide referrals.

Why join a toddler moms support group?

The toddler years can feel like a whirlwind—one moment they’re giving you the sweetest cuddles, the next they’re throwing a full-body tantrum because you dared to cut their sandwich wrong. It’s exhausting, amazing, and sometimes just plain hard.

Connecting with other moms can help you feel less isolated, remind you that you’re doing an incredible job, and give you the support you need to make it through the tough days.

You don’t have to figure it all out alone. We’d love to have you join us.

Led by Christina “Nina” Moak, LPC

This group is facilitated by Christina “Nina” Moak, LPC, a therapist who specializes in working with young children and their parents. She understands the unique challenges that toddlers bring—whether it’s managing big emotions, setting boundaries, or just making it through the day without a meltdown (theirs or yours). Nina provides a supportive, nonjudgmental space where moms can talk openly, gain insight, and feel heard.
