Howdy! I’m Danielle, and I believe change is possible for everyone. I love cheerleading the progress of my clients, no matter how small. Whether you’d like to alter your relationship to substances, the way you look at your body, or deconstruct trauma, I can help you shift perspectives and look at challenges in new ways. Not sure you’re ready for change, or that you want to change at all? That’s okay, too.
My treatment begins with values-based work, clarifying what’s significant to you, because everyone is unique in their priorities. From there, we use those values as our “North Star” and I tailor our time together based on what’s important in your life.
I use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) in my treatment of trauma with adults. As a former English major, I appreciate the power of the written word, and CPT allows clients to take back the narrative and write their own story.
Feel like we’d be a good fit? Schedule an appointment with me and let’s talk.
Education and Experience
Danielle earned her bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from the University of St. Thomas and received her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. During her time at UTA, she performed original qualitative research and wrote her thesis on the mental health implications of evangelical purity culture. Danielle completed her graduate placements at The Council on Recovery, receiving a strong foundation in addictions work, and at the Joan and Stanford Alexander Jewish Family Service.
After graduation, Danielle has served as Staff Addictions Counselor at the Menninger Clinic on the inpatient adolescent unit since 2022 and is a licensed chemical dependency counselor (LCDC). Danielle is trained in Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicide (CAMS) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). She has given continuing education and community presentations in multiple settings, including at the Texas Association of Addiction Professionals conference.
